Hey GuysI was gonna share this today at lunch with everyone. However since the 2 girls weren't there so i didn't elaborate much. I wanted to let everyone know what's our plan for the next 3 years today some of the guys gave some good ideas too so i'm gonna incorporate it.
If you have any ideas to contribute please let me know and we'll fit it in.
SOThis year, what are we gonna do?? Our next gig would be at the end of the year which is our "Thanks-Giving" concert. We are going to start planning for it real soon so be sure to keep and eye out for meetings which do not involve jamming.
I hope that in the future when we have meetings either lunch/dinner, all can attend because normally this is when we settle admin and concert details.=)

Anyways, this year nothing much is happening. We're gonna take things slowly until all of us can get our basics straight, whether is it our instruments or vocals.
CONCERT
I will see if i can discuss with leaders from both CGs if we can have a combined "Thanks-Giving" party for the band to showcase. If not, it will be our own private concert whereby costs will be higher because concert cause will be split among the band. More details will come soon=)
For this concert, a name and theme has not been established yet. We are most likely going to do 8 songs. Mixed between gospel and secular. Keep tuned for more details.
Following YearNext year (This is where we start moving). By now we should be able to do a couple of covers already. I will look for more gigs for us to play in. It could be in schools, external events, or pubs and lounges. Basically there will be more traveling. Of course i will definitely check with you guys if it clashes with our academics or church events i will not accept the offer (Especially for Elise since this is year3 for her).
At the same time, we'll be practicing and writing our own songs.
So from now until then when you have an inspiration be sure to write it down, whether inside your phone or something, then we'll discuss and see what we can do about it. If you have a melody, take your phone, hum the melody and record it down. It doesn't have to be a full song. We'll just take whatever we have and form more parts of it. This is how songs are written, by small, minute inspirations=) Don't despise it.
Plus, we will record and "EP" by the end of the year. EP means "extended play" a short demo of our songs. =)
Year 3By this year, we should be quite well-known, hopefully. We will start planning for our album to be recorded by the end of the year=) We will continue to go perform in gigs and stuff but it will be lesser because majority of us have FYPs. Vincent will be out of NS by now. So if we taking cover photos best to do it when me, HK, and ed still have hair. Hehex!
